Physiotherapists use tailored exercises to help you regain mobility and strength – and to reduce pain – both soon after the injury and in the long term. They may also use hands-on treatments to joints and soft tissue, which increase your flexibility.

• • Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a treatment for injuries and musculoskeletal problems. PRP enhances healing by using the body’s own healing system to promote tissue repair and speed up rehabilitation.
  • Ostenil is a patented treatment, available privately, to restore mobility in knee, shoulder, elbow and hip joints. It uses hyaluronic acid injections to improve lubrication and cushioning in the affected joints.
